About this experience

Your private chauffeur and guide will meet and greet you at your hotel or residence before accompanying you on a day of discovery through Central Switzerland, combining legendary mountain scenery, glacier experiences, and the historic charm of Lucerne. Travelling towards Lucerne, you'll pass beautiful lakes, rolling countryside, and mountain landscapes while learning about the history, culture, and traditions that have shaped life in the Swiss Alps.

Your first discovery is Mount Pilatus, one of Central Switzerland's most iconic mountain peaks. Rising dramatically above Lake Lucerne, Pilatus has captivated visitors for centuries with its rugged beauty and fascinating legends. As you ascend aboard the famous Dragon Ride cable car, your guide will share stories of the mythical dragons once believed to inhabit the mountain's caves and explain how Pilatus earned its nickname, the Dragon Mountain. Throughout the ascent, forests and alpine meadows gradually give way to dramatic rock formations and sweeping mountain panoramas.

At the summit of Pilatus, standing more than 2,100 metres above sea level, you'll enjoy breathtaking views across Lake Lucerne and the surrounding Alps. Your guide will explain the mountain's unique geology and point out the peaks that dominate the horizon while you take in one of the finest viewpoints in Central Switzerland. There will be time to admire the scenery, capture memorable photographs, and appreciate the spectacular Alpine setting.

The journey then continues to Engelberg, a traditional mountain village that serves as the gateway to Mount Titlis. From here, you'll ascend higher into the Alps aboard a series of cable cars towards one of Switzerland's most celebrated glacier mountains. As the landscape becomes increasingly dramatic, your guide will provide insights into the region's mountain heritage and natural environment. The highlight of the ascent is the famous TITLIS Rotair, the world's first revolving cable car, offering ever-changing 360-degree views of glaciers, snow-covered peaks, and deep Alpine valleys.

At the summit of Mount Titlis, rising above 3,000 metres, you'll step into a remarkable world of snow and ice. Your guide will introduce the glacier environment and explain how Mount Titlis became one of Switzerland's most visited mountain destinations. There will be time to visit the Glacier Cave, admire the breathtaking summit views, and cross the famous Titlis Cliff Walk, Europe's highest suspension bridge. Suspended high above the glacier, the bridge provides unforgettable views of the surrounding mountain landscape and some of the most spectacular photo opportunities in the Swiss Alps.

Leaving the high mountains behind, the final discovery of the day takes you to Lucerne, one of Switzerland's most picturesque and historic cities. Situated on the shores of Lake Lucerne and surrounded by mountain scenery, Lucerne is known for its well-preserved medieval character and rich cultural heritage. Accompanied by your guide, you'll stroll through the charming Old Town while learning about its importance as a historic trading centre.

A highlight of the visit is the iconic Chapel Bridge, one of Switzerland's most recognisable landmarks. Together with the nearby Water Tower, it has become a symbol of the city and its centuries-old history. There will also be time to admire the waterfront scenery and experience the atmosphere that has made Lucerne one of the country's most beloved destinations.

At the conclusion of your tour, your private chauffeur and guide will accompany you back to your hotel or residence, bringing an unforgettable day of Alpine panoramas, glacier adventures, scenic cable car journeys, and historic Swiss heritage to a close.
